ABOUT US
Steve, Pete and Nikki are the owners of FACTS Group Ltd. We are qualified social workers with extensive experience in fostering and supporting foster carers.
Steve Geldard
I started life within social work as a residential social worker in 1992. Since qualifying, I worked within Children and Families services for Local Authorities, the Independent sector and, since 2009, as an independent social worker. I have experience working with asylum seekers, young offenders and offering parenting support. Since 2003 I have worked within fostering and adoption as a fostering SSW, fostering panel member, independent reviewing officer, training facilitator, advocate and fostering advisor.

Peter Moore
My path into social work began as a foster carer many years ago. I became a residential social worker before gaining my social work qualification. Since then, I have worked in assessment, recruitment and development, and direct work with children with identity issues. In addition, I deliver training, chair fostering panels and have worked as an advocate for foster carers facing allegations and as a fostering helpline advisor. I have always been passionate about children receiving good quality care and keep this at the forefront of my working life. I pride myself on being fair, non judgemental and anti-discriminatory.
Nikki Stevens
I began my social worker career working in a permanence team with children in care and those awaiting adoption. I gained experience within a fostering team and since 2009, have worked independently, completing fostering, SGO and kinship assessments. I have a passion for training and development and deliver training on various issues and support social work degree students as a practice educator. I also support foster carers who have experienced allegations and am currently working on my doctorate in this field.
